The predicted salary is between 22000 - 28000 £ per year.
As part of our supportive team, you will develop and grow into delivering a great service within the Maintenance department. Alongside the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be a fundamental part of the smooth running of the guest journey from the moment each guest arrives. By working together with a large diverse and multi-skilled team, you will ensure all our guests enjoy the highest quality stay, keeping abreast of all essential maintenance repairs and minor works.
A skilled and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator will carry out internal and external painting and decorating, preparation works to walls and minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting. You will work independently to care for the maintenance of the building, carrying out minor repairs to keep the building looking its best and ensuring all areas are fully functioning. You will use and maintain a range of equipment, including loose hand tools, power tools and door lock equipment, while remaining guest focused with a positive, problem-solving attitude and supporting the wider team wherever needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician will help but is not essential – mainly a willingness to learn about maintenance covering a large hotel.
- The role requires a detail-oriented approach, ability to work independently, mechanical aptitude and a guest-centric mindset.
