Leisure Team Member

Job Summary

As a Fitness Instructor, you will provide a programme of activities to improve the health and wellbeing of the club\’s members and guests. Ensuring the day-to-day safe and effective operation of the fitness areas in relation to Health and Safety protocol, you will deliver a high standard of guest service and have the opportunity to teach classes and deliver personal training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standard of guest service, teaching classes and personal training sessions.
• Ensure a safe, secure and appealing environment in the fitness areas, following the company Health and Safety Policy.
• Engage with guests and host activities to ensure they enjoy their holiday to the full.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the leisure department.

Qualifications and Skills

• NVQ Level 2 fitness qualification.
• NVQ Level 3 personal trainer qualification.
• Experience of working in a gym.
• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS) is an advantage but not essential; full training will be available.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to pick up new skills quickly.
• Enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about leisure.
• Able to work independently while providing exceptional customer service.

Pay Rates: Up to £12.71 per hour depending on age.
