The Learning Manager is responsible for delivering Warner Hotels' learning and development agenda, ensuring our teams have access to engaging, high-quality development opportunities that build capability, support career growth and enhance business performance.

Working closely with the Head of Talent and stakeholders across the business, the Learning Manager will translate people and talent priorities into practical learning solutions, programmes and initiatives that make a measurable difference to colleague experience and organisational performance. This is a standalone role with responsibility for the day-to-day management, delivery and continuous improvement of learning and development across Warner.

The Learning Manager will combine learning design, facilitation, stakeholder management, project delivery and learning operations, meaning you'll be a highly organised individual who enjoys both creating solutions and making things happen. In this role, you'll need to be a proactive and self-sufficient learning professional who is comfortable operating autonomously, managing multiple priorities and driving activity forward with minimal direction.

You'll take ownership of delivery, build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure learning activity is implemented effectively and at pace. Reporting to the Head of Talent and working 3 days a week at our Hub in Hemel Hempstead or our hotels and 2 days a week at home, as our Learning Manager you'll need to have:

  • Proven experience in a Learning & Development, Learning Manager, Capability or Talent Development role, ideally as part of a small team rather than a large organisation.
  • Experience designing, developing and delivering learning programmes from concept through to implementation.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
  • Experience using digital learning platforms and virtual delivery methods.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a broad and varied workload.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and solutions-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality outcomes at pace.

And ideally you'll have:

  • Experience within hospitality, leisure, retail or other customer-focused environments.
  • Coaching qualification or coaching experience.
  • Experience supporting leadership and management development programmes.
  • Experience working with apprenticeships or funded learning programmes.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent professional knowledge.
