This role is responsible for delivering timely, actionable insights that support commercial decision‑making and enhance business performance. Working closely with commercial and operational teams, the role translates strategic objectives into meaningful analysis and reporting. It proactively identifies revenue, margin, and demand opportunities through detailed performance and trend analysis, while monitoring and explaining commercial results to highlight key drivers, risks, opportunities, and variances. Insights are communicated clearly and confidently to help stakeholders prioritise focus areas and take impactful action.
Knowledge- Developing understanding of commercial performance drivers, including revenue, demand, pricing, and customer behaviour.
- Working knowledge of how core business functions interact, enabling insight to be interpreted in a broader commercial context.
- Understanding of the end‑to‑end customer journey and its impact on overall performance.
- Awareness of how insight and reporting support decision‑making at different levels of the organisation.
- Ability to apply business context to data, turning analysis into commercially meaningful insight.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Build Power BI dashboards and reports that help teams understand performance.
- SQL: Experience querying data using SQL or a similar language.
- Business Insight: Ability to translate data into clear, actionable commercial insights.
- Curiosity & Problem‑Solving: Proactive in exploring data, identifying patterns, and solving business challenges.
