Warner Hotels is recruiting for an experienced
Integration Lead to own the design and governance of Warner's integration layer.
We have 100+ applications connected through a fragmented, largely point-to-point integration landscape.
This is a source of technical debt, operational instability, and constraint on the business's ability to grow and innovate.
Fixing it is one of Warner's top technology priorities.
The
Integration Lead will define the target integration architecture, leading the migration from point-to-point to an API-first, event-driven model, and ensuring that the data platform and digital products are built on sound integration foundations.
This is a hands-on role for a technically deep practitioner who can both define architecture and work alongside engineering teams to implement it.
You will work closely with the Enterprise Architect, the Head of Digital & Data Delivery, and external engineering partners to reduce complexity, improve reliability, and enable the pace of digital and data delivery that the business requires.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Architecture & Design
- Own Warner's integration architecture — designing the target state that moves the estate from point-to-point to an API-first, event-driven integration model.
- Define integration standards, patterns, and API governance frameworks that all engineering teams are expected to follow.
- Design integrations between Warner's core platforms: i Stay, Maestro, Zonal, Snowflake, Bloomreach, Optimizely, Amazon Connect, ERPx, Element Suite, and Coupa.
- Integration Platform Implementation
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Warner's new integration platform (FY26 roadmap priority).
- Work with engineering partners to implement integrations to the required standard, providing design reviews, technical guidance, and sign-off.
- Reduce integration technical debt — identifying and retiring redundant or fragile point-to-point connections as the new platform is adopted.
- Data Platform Integration
- Work closely with the Head of Digital & Data Delivery to ensure the Snowflake data platform receives clean, timely, and well-structured data from all source systems.
- Govern the use of Snowflake as a data platform — not an integration platform — ensuring appropriate separation of concerns.
- Governance & Standards
- Chair integration architecture reviews for all new integration developments.
- Maintain integration architecture documentation and API catalogue.
- Advise the Head of Architecture & Applications on integration implications of application rationalisation decisions
A Deep Integration Practitioner: You have designed and delivered complex integration architectures — not just documented them.
Platform-Agnostic: You can evaluate integration tooling objectively and select the right solution for the context.
A Standards Setter: You create governance frameworks that engineering teams actually want to follow.
A Collaborator: You work well with data engineers, digital engineers, and application teams — integration is a shared concern.
You'll need to have the following Knowledge
- Integration patterns: Power Automate RPA, API-first, event-driven, pub/sub, microservices, ESB.
- Integration platforms: Azure Integration Services, AWS Event Bridge, or equivalent.
- API design and governance: REST, Graph QL, Open API specification.
- Cloud: AWS and Azure — relevant services including API Gateway, Lambda, Event Hub.
- Hospitality application landscape (PMS, POS, CRS): beneficial but not essential.
We're looking for the Integrations Lead to have extensive experience in integration or solution architecture roles, a proven track record designing and implementing integration platforms in complex, multi-system environments.
You will need to have experience with both data integration and API/event-driven integration patterns.
Consumer sector or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
