At Warner Hotels, we’re looking for a Digital Analytics Manager, who will be the analytics expert for the digital team, leveraging GA4 and other tools to extract actionable insights that drive commercial decision-making. Guided by our values – being Guest Hearted, embracing Limitless Thinking, Owning Our Impact, and Winning as One – you’ll monitor performance across the guest’s digital journey, from the search and discovery website through to the booking engine, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities, and communicating these to colleagues via dashboards and reports.

You will also maintain tracking infrastructure through Google Tag Manager to ensure data quality and accuracy, as well as adding, removing, and testing tags. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with internal teams and external partners across Digital Marketing, SEO, CRO, Campaign Management, Revenue Management, and Brand.

Analytics & Insights
  • Own the GA4 measurement strategy for the website, ensuring comprehensive tracking of all key user interactions, engagement events, and conversion funnels.
  • Analyse the full digital guest journey, currently focusing on the search and discovery website and our booking engine.
  • Perform detailed analysis – including browser and device type, segmentation trends, geographic trends, funnel analysis, lead time, product performance, marketing channel performance, personalisation performance, and order values.
  • Conduct cohort analysis and user journey mapping to understand behaviour patterns and identify friction points.
  • Leverage GA4's predictive metrics (purchase probability, churn probability, predicted revenue) to identify high-value user segments and opportunities.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of website content and merchandising using engagement metrics, custom dimensions, and behavioural insights (using heatmaps, session recordings, user surveys).
  • Provide seasonal, product, campaign and channel performance analysis and attribution insights to support marketing and revenue teams.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain custom GA4 reports, explorations, and dashboards to monitor performance across multiple dimensions (individual hotels/hotel groups, break types, channels, devices audience segment, etc.).
  • Create and distribute regular performance reports highlighting trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders across the business.
  • Support the Digital Content team with data insights on journeys, content layout and CTAs/copy impact.
  • Work with CRO partners to plan optimisations and tests to drive conversion improvements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Tracking & Data Quality
  • Manage Google Tag Manager implementation, maintaining tracking tags, triggers, and variables across web properties.
  • Configure and optimise GA4 event tracking, including enhanced measurement, custom events, and conversion events.
  • Collaborate with developers on data layer specifications to support analytics requirements.
  • Ensure tag governance and quality control, including debugging, version control, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues and work with technical teams to resolve problems.
Capabilities and skills
  • Advanced Google Analytics 4 skills: Custom event configuration and parameter tracking, conversion funnel analysis and path exploration, audience building and segmentation, custom dimension and metric creation, exploration reports and data visualisation.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills: Dashboard design and development, data storytelling and presentation, translating complex data for non-technical audiences.
  • Google Tag Manager competency: Tag configuration and deployment, debug mode and troubleshooting, version control and workspace management.
Experience / Education / Qualification
  • Extensive experience in digital analytics for medium to large businesses.
  • Proven track record of delivering insights that have informed business decisions.
  • Experience with GA4 implementation and reporting.
  • Understanding of GDPR-compliant tracking practices.
  • Google Analytics certification (strongly preferred).
Leadership & Behaviours
  • Strong communicator who can share complex data effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confident representing the analytics function in key meetings and conversations.
  • Highly analytical with a curious, insight-driven mindset.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to identify opportunities without direction.
  • Success-driven, keen to join an ambitious and growing brand.
