As part of our supportive team, you will develop and grow into delivering a great service within the Maintenance department. Alongside the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be a fundamental part of the smooth running of the guest journey from the moment each guest arrives. By working together with a large diverse and multi-skilled team, you will ensure all our guests enjoy the highest quality stay, keeping abreast of all essential maintenance repairs and minor works.

Responsibilities:

  • A skilled and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to carry out internal and external painting and decorating, preparation works to walls and minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting.
  • Someone who can work independently to care for the maintenance of the building, ensuring it is not only looking its best but that all areas are fully functioning.
  • Able to use and maintain a range of equipment, including loose hand tools, power tools, and door lock equipment.
  • Be guest focused, always having a positive and problem-solving attitude.
  • A people person who would put the guest journey at the heart of everything they do.
  • Someone who will care about the wider team and look to support wherever needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a maintenance technician will help but is not essential - mainly a willingness to learn about maintenance covering a large hotel.

Pay Rates: Up to 12.21 per hour depending on age.
