About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Food & Beverage, F&B leader or senior hospitality professional to join Runnymede on Thames, one of our flagship Warner Hotels Reserve properties.

We’re looking for an exceptional hotel, resort or restaurant hospitality leader who genuinely loves what they do. Someone who gets a buzz from a busy operation, cares deeply about brilliant service and knows that great guest experiences start with great teams.

This is a big, visible leadership role. You’ll lead our Food & Beverage operation, working closely with the General Manager, Executive/Head Chef, F&B Manager and wider hotel leadership team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and strong commercial performance.

And this definitely isn’t a role for someone who wants to lead from behind a desk. We want someone who loves being in the operation — talking to guests, working alongside their teams, coaching their leaders and inspiring others to raise the bar.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take overall responsibility for Food & Beverage at Runnymede — from guest experience and service standards through to revenue, labour, cost control and profitability.

A huge part of your role will be people. You’ll build a brilliant team around you, develop your managers, nurture talent and create an environment where people feel supported, challenged and proud of what they deliver.

You’ll:

• Lead from the front – be a visible and inspiring presence across the operation.
• Create brilliant guest experiences – champion exceptional hospitality and continually look for ways to make it even better.
• Build and develop great teams – recruit well, coach your leaders and create opportunities for people to progress.
• Own the commercial performance – take responsibility for P&L, revenue, labour and cost control.
• Keep raising the bar – bring ideas, energy and fresh thinking to improve both the guest and team experience.
• Play an active role in the wider hotel – as part of Runnymede’s senior leadership team, including deputising for the General Manager when required.

What we’re looking for:

Above all, we’re looking for a people-focused hospitality leader with a real passion for brilliant service.

You’ll have significant experience leading a sizeable, multi-outlet Food & Beverage, hotel, resort or restaurant operation, probably at General Manager, Head of Food & Beverage, F&B Director or equivalent senior level.

Previous hotel or resort experience would be highly desirable, but it isn’t essential. You could equally be joining us from a high-volume, quality-led restaurant group or premium hospitality business and be ready to bring that experience into a broader hotel operation.

You’ll be commercially strong, with experience of P&L management, budgeting and forecasting, but just as importantly, you’ll have a track record of building engaged, high-performing teams and developing people.

You’ll care about the detail, notice when something isn’t quite right and have the energy to make it better.
