Join our team at Cricket St Thomas, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 239-bedroom Grade II listed hotel with a theatre, spa, and restaurant is surrounded by 160 acres of parkland in the West Country.

Warner Hotels are looking for a Property Manager to lead the team at our glorious hotel in Somerset, Cricket St Thomas. As Property Manager, you'll be looking after daily maintenance and grounds function of the hotel. You'll be making sure that the site is operating efficiently, safely and is compliant to a range of standards.

You'll be a strong leader, with great attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Property Manager plays a critical part in ensuring a high-quality guest experience by maintaining the hotel's physical assets and fostering collaboration across departments. You'll also need to be comfortable in using data and systems to manage the costs and efficiencies of the department.

Key Responsibilities for the Property Manager will include:
  • Facilities Management
    • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a hotel to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
    • Planning and programming PPM using systems and tools.
    • Supporting the Maintenance and grounds teams at the properties, working with all team within the hotel, and across the portfolio to share best practice and support the business.
    • Ensuring brand standards, policies and legal compliance are delivered, monitored and recorded.
    • Accountability for ensuring Health and Safety policies and compliance are adhered to.
    • Action planning and delegating tasks across a small team to ensure effectiveness of spends, plus ensuring our maintenance and PPM regime is clear and correct.
    • Supporting grounds teams on site to deliver the required standards for our guests.
  • Team Leadership
    • Managing and leading a team of maintenance and grounds teams and external contractors.
    • Developing and recruiting team to support the foundations of the function for properties.
  • Budget Management
    • Maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialised services, ensuring quality and compliance with contractual agreements.
    • Use technology to support the function at property or centralised systems including BMS and CAFM systems.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure that the hotel complies with local, brand and legal regulations, including health and safety standards, food safety and all compliance measures.
    • Ensure that our guests and teams are always in a safe and secure environment.
  • Sustainability and Utility Initiatives
    • Implement and promote sustainable practices across the hotel to reduce environmental impact.
    • Drive the delivery of Utility targets through support, coaching and develop approaches to deliver financial results.
    • Support the hotels green teams and energy initiatives at property.
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, and provide regular reports to regional management.
    • Use systems and tools effectively to develop and manage the property FM function.
    • Completion of capital requests.

The Property Manager will need to have significant experience in working within hospitality or leisure and be working in a similar facilities based role.
