We are seeking a proactive and skilled Lead Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance operations at our Stone manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment and infrastructure.
- Lead and motivate a small team in coordinating maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, gas, and plumbing systems.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records.
- Carry out repairs and fabrication work.
- Work closely with outside contractors to co-ordinate repairs, obtain quotations and schedule routine PPMs.
- Collaborate with production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure completion of Compliance activities including LEVs, calibration, inspections etc.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies including producing risk assessments where required.
- Clear record-keeping and calibration records using our in-house computer system.
Current and relevant Electrical Qualification/Certification 18th Edition essential.
Proven experience in mechanical engineering, fabrication and welding, milling and turning.
Strong aptitude for fault-finding in mechanical, electrical, gas, and plumbing systems.
Gas Safety Certification (COCN1).
Forklift Truck Driver or willing to learn.
Lead by example nurture internal talent.
