Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 0900-1730hrs, 40-hour week (with flexibility required as part of a growing and evolving business)

Are you a highly organised, proactive and professional individual who enjoys variety, responsibility and supporting a growing business? We are a specialist, highly regulated production business based near Burton upon Trent. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant / Office Manager to play a key role in supporting our senior management team whilst ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

The Role

  • Reporting directly into the senior management team, you will provide comprehensive executive support whilst overseeing the day-to-day running of the office.
  • Managing diaries, correspondence, meetings and travel arrangements for senior managers.
  • Supporting Board and Senior Management meetings, including preparation of papers, minute-taking and follow-up actions.
  • Reviewing invoices and assisting with expenses administration.
  • Managing office facilities, suppliers, consumables and general office operations.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for office-related queries.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new employees and coordinating HR administration.
  • Arranging DBS checks and assisting with wider people-related administration.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

About You

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experienced in providing executive, administrative or office management support.
  • Confident working with senior managers and stakeholders.
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Experienced in taking minutes at management or board meetings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Professional, approachable and highly discreet.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Able to work independently and exercise sound judgement when managing confidential or sensitive matters.
  • A team player who is willing to support colleagues across the wider business.
  • Possesses a high degree of attention to detail.
