Your New Role...
We are calling on a skilled and proactive Electrician to help power the heart of one of the worldâs most iconic film studios. Working closely with the Senior Electrician and Facilities Administrators, youâll ensure our studio spaces are maintained to the highest standards, keeping safety, reliability, and performance front and centre. In this hands-on role, youâll be responsible for the maintenance, modification, and installation of electrical systems across the site. Youâll also bring your versatility to the table by supporting general maintenance tasks, helping ensure the studio operates seamlessly day to day. Your Role Accountabilities...
- Monitor H&S compliance, such as correct PPE being worn, as per the H&S at Work Act and WBSL H&S Policy.
- Ensure that the sites electrical and mechanical equipment are looked after in such a way as to maintain continuous operation and legal compliance.
- Operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems.
- Carry out small installation works and modifications to existing systems.
- Fault finding, ensuring satisfactory fault rectification.
- Undertaking general maintenance tasks and survey inspections including areas at height.
- Audit and review of all stock levels and report to the Senior Electrician any required orders.
- Ensure all maintenance activities and procedures adhere to applicable health and safety legislation, policies, and best practice guidelines.
- Provide out of hours electrical cover for all WB clients.
- Provide assistance and direction to contractors employed within the studio.
Qualifications & Experiences...
- Must hold a full UK driving license.
- Fully qualified âApproved Electricianâ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
- BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.
- Electricity Supply Regulations Awareness.
- Electricity at Work act Awareness.
- JIB/ECS card.
- 2391 inspecting and testing would be advantageous.
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
