Your New Role…
Are you looking to be the driving force behind Studio Operations? We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-driven Operations Assistant to join our lively team and help keep the heartbeat of the studios running smoothly. Supporting the Operations Manager and Coordinators, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless activity across our stages, workshops, and backlot areas, where creativity meets logistics and every day brings something new. You’ll help coordinate internal communications, enforce studio policies, review production schedules, and distribute key shoot information. You’ll be at the centre of the action, helping coordinate site logistics, respond to real-time studio needs, and keep everything moving.
You’ll need to be confident working both in the office and on site, juggling multiple priorities while contributing to a safe, professional, and efficient studio experience.

Your Role Accountabilities…
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, clear communication, operational coverage, and seamless support across all areas of the site.
- Provide proactive operational support to production clients by offering solutions and site-wide guidance.
- Support the Coordinators and Management team by documenting and communicating production movement and forecasted activity to relevant WB departments.
- Maintain a visible operational presence on the lot, proactively supporting clients, enforcing studio policies, and ensuring site housekeeping standards across the studio and backlot areas are met.
- Facilitate the New Hire and End Hire processes by preparing stage landlord checks, coordinating walkthroughs, and delivering stage inductions.
- Enforce the Vehicle Management Policy, providing training to productions, actively monitoring vehicle compliance, and addressing parking breaches to maintain a safe and organised lot.
- Assist with backlot operations, including notifying stakeholders for scheduled SFX activity, archiving SFX documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant protocols.
- Prepare and deliver Mini Operation Handbook and On-lot Training sessions to new productions.
- Conduct weekly inspections of temporary structures and utilities usage across the site, inputting accurate data into internal systems for billing purposes.
- Work directly with productions to forecast crew numbers during prep, shoot, and strike phases, enabling accurate planning for overflow parking and site resource allocation.
Qualifications & Experiences…
- Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems specific to the job role and department.
- Previous knowledge of or an interest in the media, film, or events industry.
- Previous experience working in an administrative role.
- Knowledge and practical application of basic health and safety.
- Full UK Driving Licence

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a world-class film and TV studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. The purpose-built studio site is home to 20 sound stages, production offices, workshops, an indoor water tank, and an extensive backlot.
WBSL includes on-site production rentals, Warner Bros. Set Lighting & Rigging, which provides lighting equipment, scaffolding, and production supplies for stage and location shoots worldwide. Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, based in London, provides picture and sound post-production services for film and TV, and has a dedicated Dailies department on the lot at WBSL.
Warner Bros. Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for productions and is home to The WonderWorks, a childcare facility available to those working on site.
With services including an on-site gym, café, and wellbeing room, WBSL provides the home for productions and is a preferred studio for many filmmakers.
Onsite Working – This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to applicable laws, Warner Bros. Discovery / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working arrangement as needed with reasonable notice.
