Your New Role As a Sales Executive within Warner Bros. Pictures International – Theatrical Sales UK, you’ll play a key role in maximising the commercial performance of Warner Bros.’ theatrical releases across the UK. Working closely with major cinema exhibitors, you’ll ensure each film reaches its full revenue potential through smart sales strategies, evidence-based insights, and strong relationship management. You’ll be part of an 8-person London-based sales team, collaborating daily with Marketing, Publicity, Finance and Legal to bring films to market successfully. This is a highly visible, commercially focused role where your insights and commercial judgement directly influence box office performance.
Your Role Accountabilities:
- Manage and develop key relationships with major UK exhibitors, both circuit and independent.
- Maximise theatrical sales revenue across the Warner Bros. release slate.
- Optimise film playtime and site allocation using analytical, data-led models.
- Oversee the holdover process, applying show-count and performance analysis.
- Keep exhibitors fully informed of upcoming Warner Bros. release plans.
- Report box office performance to internal stakeholders as required.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Publicity on sales strategy, point-of-sale activity and trailering.
- Work closely with Finance to manage invoicing, AR queries and compliance matters.
- Contribute to departmental forecasting, commercial insight and planning.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities with existing and emerging exhibitors in the UK market.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a sales or commercial role, ideally within a fast-paced or target-led environment.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful insight, with advanced Excel skills and experience using Tableau or similar tools.
- Ability to build and interpret complex models and dashboards that provide actionable insight.
- Understanding of how AI and data tools enable informed commercial judgement.
- Proactive, creative problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
- A genuine interest and knowledge for film and the theatrical exhibition industry.
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
