General Summary:
The Warner Bros. Discovery UK and Ireland Publicity department constantly strives to create and maintain a best-in-class position within the industry. The publicity team is tasked with strategically positioning, promoting but also protecting the launch of all WBD titles.
It\’s a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
A key strategic role within the PR team in the UK and Ireland, we are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience in delivering premium, scripted TV PR campaigns.
WBD UK & Ireland expect an exemplary candidate with 4+ years PR experience to:

Support the Senior PR Manager to launch HBO Max in market and deliver a roster of premium TV PR campaigns. WBD is looking for a candidate who is hugely creative, embraces constant change and has demonstrable experience in delivering big PR campaigns for premium TV show releases.

Have excellent digital, broadcast and print contacts and an understanding of the UK and Irish Media landscape with a celebrated track record in delivery of PR campaigns including junkets and tours across premium TV titles.

Orchestrate content creator and tastemaker strategy with the Senior PR Manager.

Continually expand conventional publicity opportunities, focusing on bigger ideas which will cut through in the marketplace alongside the Senior PR Manager and the Events department. Prior experience in running smaller events and activations, and ideating stunts, experiential is preferred.

Run PR agencies from briefing, campaign work, asset breaks and reporting.

Run and own multiple campaigns over several titles simultaneously.

Communicate fluently with:

The PR team and colleagues across the business including reporting directly into a Senior PR Manager

Senior Executives in the UK, EMEA and the US in meetings, reporting, etc…

Employed agencies to facilitate campaigns and deliver results over multiple projects simultaneously.

The legal team as the main point of contact on contracting for assigned titles.

Have experience in line managing direct reports and being an active support for the senior management on the team with staffing and team morale

Be a champion of innovation and change for the team identifying new opportunities for campaigns, process and the team.

Drive cross divisional working over key titles with the Sport, Franchise, Film, Catalogue and Games teams and wider WBD divisions. Drive one team approach over the full WBD slate identifying opportunity and innovation
Requirements

4+ years prior PR agency or inhouse premium, scripted TV experience working on UK and Ireland campaigns is essential.

A strong communicator with a proven track record of delivering creative and engaging premium TV PR campaigns.

Ability to multitask and manage the general day-to-day activities of a busy and fast paced press office.

Exemplary media knowledge with a good network of journalists or contacts in the industry.

Experience drafting PR plans and strategy, decks and documents.

Hybrid Working – This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
