Your New Role
As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will join our Merchandising team who deliver smooth week-to-week running of operations across Global Tours & Retail.
You will assist in planning and trading to maximise revenue and profit, ensuring that product allocations are optimised and that our merchandising processes are efficient.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the merchandising department, including preparing daily, weekly, and ad hoc reports, managing purchase orders from creation to delivery, and ensuring accurate product allocations to maximise sales and growth.
- Maximise revenue through ensuring that product lines are always available globally and on all channels.
- Continually review the balance of ranges to optimize revenue, and support the merchandising team in planning and trading decisions to maximise profit.
- Work closely with internal and external partners, including the buying team, stores, tours, tech team, and logistics, to resolve queries effectively.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to support merchandising activities and drive growth.
- Maintain awareness of market, political, and economic trends that may affect business.
- Evolve existing processes, reporting and drive new ideas to enhance the function through continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience of working in a global Merchandising team as well as strong understanding of product and channel merchandising.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to work, capable of multitasking and prioritising workload.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant degree or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous but not essential.
Onsite Working – This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
