Promo Packaging Editor

Working within Post Production, the Promo Packaging Editor is primarily responsible for editing and packaging promo campaigns for the Warner Bros. Discovery UK & EMEA network channels and streaming platforms. This role requires advanced GFX and editing skills using Adobe After Effects and Avid Media Composer. Understanding of Broadcast and technical Post Production workflows are a must.
The Promo Packaging Editor will support the Promo Packinging Supervisor in providing high levels of customer services to the UK & EMEA network channels and streaming platforms, as well as other internal clients. The Promo Packaging Editor will be required to highlight any client needs, edit sessions, workflow challenges/efficiencies or technical/operational problems to the Promo Packaging Supervisor. This role also includes Quality Assessment work., * Edit and package content according to WBD tech specs, network style guides and makelists using Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects and, where necessary, Adobe Premiere.

Ensure that all aspects of compliance Codes of Practice relating to the channels and broadcast are observed.

Take responsibility for any assigned feeds and campaigns, managing your schedule and workload to meet any specified deadlines.

Engage with the relevant regional Promo teams to maintain the look and feel of the WBD channels and provide timely completion of all campaigns.

Receive, check, and utilise assets of various kinds for edit and packaging work, communicating any issues or missing materials promptly to Promo Edit Bookings, the Promo Edit Coordinators and/or the Promo Producer.

Use, adapt and create toolkits and projects in Adobe After Effects.

Maintain an impeccable attention to detail throughout the promo packaging process.

Thoroughly carry out metadata entry tasks.

Advanced knowledge and experience of Adobe After Effects is essential.

Advanced knowledge and relevant experience of Avid Media Composer is important for the role.

Excellent attention to detail in all communication, documentation and metadata.

Ability to detect and identify standard video and audio faults.

Ability to coordinate, prioritise and edit in a fast-paced environment.

Able to manage own schedule and priorities, making the most efficient use of time.

Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Technical training and experience in a recognised creative agency, promo team, post facility or media-based organization.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Hybrid Working – This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
