Non-linear finishing/online editing for feature film and episodic television content, including basic visual effects compositing, beauty fixes and other opticals.

Maintain and contribute to the development of digital workflows by ensuring you stay ahead of emerging technology, workflows, current trends and finishing techniques.

Communicate to all members of the post production team all project details necessary, ensuring a robust, consistent and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Non-linear finishing and online editing of feature films and television content.
  • Basic visual effects compositing, beauty fixes and other optical corrections.
  • Title, versioning, spotting sessions and incorporating any design/graphic elements.
  • Troubleshooting technical anomalies and ensuring correct assembly of video and audio elements.
  • Maintaining best practices for content security and client confidentiality.
  • Ensuring project details are communicated to all post‑production team members.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience working at a similar level within a large post‑production company delivering content of comparable standard and profile for both film and television.
  • Extensive list of post‑production credits as an Online/Finishing Editor.
  • Expert working knowledge of Flame Suite and Baselight.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Mocha, Sapphire, Boris, Fusion, Nuke and other VFX platforms.
  • File‑based workflow experience and excellent knowledge of digital capture cameras, files, codecs and workflows.
  • Awareness of emerging technology, emerging trends and finishing techniques.
  • Computer literate and experienced using computer packages.
  • Technical Skills & Requirements
  • Experience with UHD, HDR, P3, PQ and other current industry trends and diverse deliverable content.
  • Familiarity with Conditions of Service, Contract of Employment, Health and Safety and their impact on staff.
  • Understanding of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden values, policies, procedures and guidelines, including Health & Safety guidelines.

Work Environment

Onsite working: All working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
