About the Role

Are you an apparel designer with a passion for creating exceptional clothing? We are looking for a standout individual excited by original apparel ideas that go beyond the brief. You will work across a variety of ranges, contributing at every stage of the design process through to production, while managing multiple projects at once. Curiosity and a genuine enthusiasm for designing high‑quality ranges and working as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Design and launch new apparel ranges using pre‑designed style guides and self‑developed lines.
  • Create Harry Potter products specific to the UK Tour and the global Harry Potter landscape.
  • Collaborate with buying, merchandising, e‑commerce and visual merchandising teams to bring apparel requirements to life.
  • Support wear testing and consumer feedback loops, translating insights into actionable product improvements.
  • Introduce new apparel ideas and techniques based on trends to remain first to market.
  • Balance business requirements and technical constraints while developing designs.
  • Drive technical fit and construction development, including fit blocks, grading guidance, and consistent fit standards.

Qualifications

  • A passion and proven ability to imagine, design and create fantastic apparel ranges.
  • Solid fashion design experience working in a retail FMCG environment.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat, with general knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience presenting projects to all teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Interest in defining the design process and working alongside disciplines such as buying, merchandising, e‑commerce and visual merchandising.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and ability to tell a visual story, including clear artboards that cover packaging, embellishments and garment construction.

Working Arrangements

This role is advertised as Onsite. All working hours and days will be carried out at the place of work, subject to applicable laws and reasonable notice for changes by the Line Manager.
