We are looking for the Community & Partnership Manager who will work specifically across CNN\’s new event franchise, Global Perspectives. In this role you will be responsible for growing and nurturing our global events\’ community, through establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders. The role is an integral part of connecting, building trust, nurturing long‑term relationships and encouraging collaborations between internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture an active global community of event participants, partners, and stakeholders.
- Create opportunities for meaningful engagement before, during, and after events, both online and in person.
- Work with CNNIC marketing teams to collaboratively feed into communication platforms, newsletters, and social channels to keep our community of speakers, partners and stakeholders connected and informed.
- Identify and develop partnerships with leading organizations and leaders across corporate, government, and association sectors.
- In partnership with commercial solutions and sales teams, build compelling proposals and partnership packages that align with both client objectives and event goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including government agencies, sponsors, industry associations, and VIP clients.
- Collaborate with all internal teams, including sales, marketing, A&D, comms and editorial to deliver on stakeholder needs, in line with CNNIC event strategy.
- Represent CNNIC at events, meetings, and industry gatherings to strengthen our network, brand presence and build awareness of Global Perspectives.
- Share insights from partners and participants to help shape event content, marketing campaigns, and overall strategy.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in community management, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement within events, media, or related industries.
- A natural relationship builder with established and proven track record in establishing and managing relationships with senior‑level corporate and government stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically in a fast‑paced, international environment.
- A genuine passion for connecting people, driving collaboration, and delivering exceptional results for partners.
