Your New Role…
Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is seeking an experienced Senior Producer for it’s UK operations. This senior position will report into the Head of Football and Vice President, Production and Broadcast. Key responsibilities include taking a leading role in producing major live event broadcasts for TNT Sports, with a particular focus on live football, as well as helping to shape the direction and output of content across the TNT portfolio. This is a fast paced, live broadcast environment, so proven experience in gallery producing, leading production teams and delivering high profile broadcasts will be crucial to this role.
Your Role Accountabilities…

Lead the planning, execution and delivery of live sports broadcasts across TNT Sports platforms

Take the live gallery producer role on major sporting event broadcasts, with particular focus on football, across Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA competitions.

Design and construct all elements of original and engaging broadcast running orders for major events, adhering to WBD brand guidelines and principles, for studio, outside broadcast and hybrid productions.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key broadcast partners and external stakeholders, including federations and organising committees.

Work closely with Production Management team to deliver individual broadcasts and competition seasons on budget and within production scope.

Represent the editorial team in meetings with key internal partners such as Sports Programming, Digital, Legal, Talent & Music Teams to facilitate joined up production plans.

Align with media planning and marketing teams to optimise cross promotional opportunities and to develop concepts that bring together the breadth of TNT Sports and Discovery+ content.

Work closely with on-screen team to write and design shows that showcase their knowledge and talent.

Lead and support producer, assistant producer and production junior teams, to include career development.

Continually challenge the status quo, identify original ways to broadcast sport and push originality and innovation across football programming.

Identify and realise the opportunities for impact beyond linear broadcasts, through second screen applications and/or additional streams or programming.
Qualifications & Experience…

Significant proven experience in live gallery production including major football broadcasts.

A track-record for originality and variety of content in broadcast running orders.

Significant experience in delivering live outside broadcast and studio productions for high profile sporting events.

Extensive knowledge of domestic and international football.

Strong script-writing and editorial skills, a good knowledge of current football storylines and proven journalistic skills to identify stories and demonstrate editorial judgement

Experience of extending content and broadcasts across multiple platforms and creating opportunity for audience engagement across mediums.

Strong leadership skills and team management experience.

Significant experience working with on-screen talent
Hybrid Working – This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
