Your new role
We are looking for a Broadcast Senior Engineer with a passion for solving complex challenges in the broadcast and media landscape.
As part of the M2P Team (MAM, Post‑Production and Playout), you will provide engineering and Level 3 support on MAM and Post‑Production platforms within a virtualized hybrid on‑premise and cloud environment.
You will play a key role in sport production and entertainment deliveries.
Your role accountabilities
Engineering
- Project management
- Proactively identify, propose, and support the implementation of technological evolutions for the platform
- Gather workflow needs with production teams across all Eurosport offices
- Write workflow, project and engineering documentation
- Centralize and design workflows on MAM and Post‑Production creation
- Follow up development and test deliveries
- Coordinate broadcast and IT teams on integration projects
Support
- Tier 3 support
- Ensure day‑to‑day platform updates are shared with Tier 2 support
Qualifications & Experiences
- Degree in Technology or similar
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of French is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
- Comfortable working independently and driving work forward
- Strong team player with self‑motivation and a consistent customer‑service mindset
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Experience in Sport, News, Production and Documentary environments
- Experience with MAM, Post‑Production and workflow engine tools
- Strong broadcast technical background (IP video 2110, AES67, NMOS, video and audio formats and codecs)
- Good understanding of IT technologies and related challenges (network, virtualization, storage, cloud services, security)
- Continuous technology watch to keep systems efficient and aligned with business growth
- Basic development and scripting skills
- AWS knowledge
- Micro‑services knowledge
Site
- London, Chiswick
- Minimal travel anticipated
- Regular office hours Monday to Friday, with possible out‑of‑hours work depending on project needs
- Permanent contract
- Hybrid working: combines remote and in‑office work, following our current company policy, and to be agreed with your line manager (subject to applicable laws, the company reserves the right to change this arrangement)
