The Opportunity

With the launch of HBO Max in over 100 markets, Warner Bros. Discovery has launched its ad-supported streaming tier in more than 60 international markets. As we move beyond launch, our focus is now on optimising monetisation, yield, and advertiser value across our existing subscriber base. We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Ad Strategy to support critical strategic work at the intersection of ad product, audience, data, and monetisation, particularly in international markets we have expanded to. This is a high-impact individual contributor role, ideal for someone with strong advertising and programmatic experience along with strategic skills who is comfortable working on ambiguous, commercially meaningful problems and producing clear, executive-ready outputs.

Based in London, this role works closely with the International Ads Sales, Marketing, Product, Data, and Regional Business teams to help support decision-making at senior leadership level during a pivotal phase of the ads business growth.

What You'll Work On

  • International Ads Strategy Support: support strategic analysis across international markets, reflecting differences in market maturity, regulation, and advertiser sophistication. Develop comparative views, market frameworks, and structured analyses to inform global vs local decisions. Support ongoing product prioritisation tied with the sales planning process.
  • Executive Communication: produce clear, concise, executive-ready decks and documents to support leadership discussions. Turn complex analysis into structured narratives with clear takeaways. Support ad‑hoc strategy deep dives as needed.
  • Programmatic & Ad Ecosystem Insight: apply a strong understanding of programmatic advertising and ad tech ecosystems to inform strategy work. Translate ecosystem knowledge into implications for ad product and monetisation strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • 3‑5+ years' experience in advertising, ad tech, ad strategy or programmatic environments.
  • Background in consulting, strategy, analytics, or similarly structured problem‑solving roles is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to targeting, measurement, audience strategy, or ads data enablement.
  • Experience working with international or multi‑market contexts is a plus.
  • Direct experience within the advertising ecosystem (publisher, platform, ad tech, agency, or advertiser) strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and bringing structure to complex questions.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills, particularly for senior audiences.
  • Collaborative working style with product, data, and commercial teams.
  • Pragmatic, impact‑focused mindset.
