Discovery as a Projectionist, playing a key role behind the scenes of our world-class screening facilities at Soho Square.
From preparing and quality-checking content to operating cutting-edge digital cinema technology, you'll ensure every screening is delivered flawlessly.
Working closely with post-production teams, colourists, producers, and clients, you'll be at the centre of bringing creative visions to the big screen while providing a first-class experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Prepare, ingest, and manage content, ensuring all content is correctly formatted, verified, and ready for playback.
Carry out pre-screening checks of picture and sound to ensure correct aspect ratio, resolution, audio routing, and overall presentation quality.
Configure and operate our digital cinema servers and projection systems in our screening rooms.
Perform quality control (QC) checks on all content, identifying and reporting issues such as artefacts, sync errors, subtitle faults, or playback issues.
Assist with image and sound calibration of our equipment to maintain DCI compliance.
Collaborate with post-production producers, colourists, and clients on booking schedules so that screenings run smoothly, as well as all technical requirements are met.
Be responsible for meeting clients before screenings.
Be part of the team of Fire Wardens to assist in ensuring the safety of all personnel on site.
