General summary:
The Production Operations Coordinator provides logistical coordination and support to the broadcast facility and production teams based out of the London technical hubs. The facility comprises Production and Sound Control Rooms, Studios, Commentary booths, Edit suites and Multi-Function Rooms which are all operatorial 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Within the role you will provide administrative and coordination support to the live gallery and studio production teams on both live production and prep days.
As part of the Production Operations team, you will work in partnership with not only production colleagues but the wider business to deliver outstanding, sporting and business content across EMEA.
This role will require occasional weekend and evening work as production dictates, but predominantly standard office hours will apply. Flexibility is key, and you will be required to work across both Chiswick and Stockley sites to support the busy event calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
● Support the Production Operations team in all aspects of event planning and execution of live broadcast and corporate events.
● Update and maintain production calendars and scheduling software on behalf of the Production Operations team.
● Manage the event calendar to ensure all upcoming events are up to date and resourced correctly.
● Work with the Operation Resources team, Production Managers and Technical/Audio Supervisors to ensure all parties have the correct production information; and any changes and updates are communicated effectively to all parts of the business.
● Flag staffing hot spots early and escalate when needed.
● Attend daily scheduling meetings to ensure that information is accurate and updated.
● Organise training for new freelance Technical Leads and support relevant onboarding systems.
● Support internal & external contributors to navigate corporate systems, to ensure smooth workflows at each facility.
● Support studio and gallery teams with ad hoc tasks and requirements during production days.
● Deliver monthly updates on facility utilisation.
● Actively ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies.
● Work collaboratively with other GT&O organisations i.e. MAM, Ingest, Engineering, MCR, Programming.
● Actively monitor and seek feedback on performance of the facility and services and promote improvements in customer service.
● Support with the rollout of new system and software development for the facility.
● Promote sharing of best practice and process change opportunities to support an efficient and effective department.

Requirements:
● Experience working in live, multi-sport production
● A passion for sports and live production
● Strong knowledge relating to television & digital production
● Understand scheduling systems and rostering restrictions
● Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
● Self-motivated & strong problem-solving approach required
● Proactive self-starter, with drive to enhance workflows and processes
● Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
● Live galleries or studio experience preferable
● Ability to work with minimum supervision and use own initiative with confidence
● Strong team player with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire others with solid interpersonal skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Adaptable and flexible in a challenging, demanding and fast-paced environment
Onsite Working – This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
