Role Overview
Based at Leavesden and reporting to the Senior People & Culture Partner, you will deliver a proactive, end-to-end HR generalist service. This includes partnering with Tours & Retail management as well as cross-functional teams to enhance employee experience, ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, and contribute to the success of the wider Warner Bros. Discovery business.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Tours Management Team, providing strategic and operational support on all people-related matters.
- Build strong relationships and understand business goals to deliver effective people and organisational solutions.
- Manage day-to-day employee relations issues such as sickness absence, misconduct, and grievances, while identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Respond to HR-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Lead and contribute to projects within the annual People Plan, focusing on culture, process improvement, engagement, and wellbeing.
- Support performance management through coaching and capability development.
- Assist with recruitment processes and approvals using Workday.
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes to ensure a positive new starter experience.
- Champion and support organisational change initiatives aligned with Warner Bros. Discovery’s global vision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior demonstrable success as an HR Partner in a complex environment, supporting high-volume customer-facing teams.
- CIPD Level 5 or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Skilled in managing complex employee relations cases including absence, misconduct, and grievances.
- Up-to-date understanding of UK employment legislation and its practical application.
- Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and organisational change.
- Proficient in HR systems, with working knowledge of Workday and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills across all seniority levels.
