Your New Role... As a specialist in graphics and a member of the COE AR/VR/GFX, the candidate will be a SME responsible for providing global 3rd Level of Engineering support, covering on call shifts to act in case of an emergency, participating in the research and selection of new technologies, ensuring complete documentation is available to all COE participants, and providing level 2 support. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for training and overseeing the knowledge of Tier 2 support staff.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Laboratory Testing: Conducting tests on new software versions and features, tracking bugs, monitoring hardware for graphic systems, and testing graphics deployments on the cloud.
- Support: Troubleshooting, following up on issues with suppliers, managing tickets. Being available on-call for global emergencies (Major Incidents).
- Documentation and Training: Creating and updating documentation for graphic systems. Generating SOPs for Tier 2 support and providing training.
- Design and Implementation for New Projects: Including documentation and training for Tier 2 support and other COE team members.
- Participation in COE Meetings: Attending meetings to track issues, discuss new projects, and analyze and define technologies.
Qualifications and Experience… Strong experience with broadcasting equipment related to live productions, and knowledge of 2D and 3D graphic systems and tracking systems is a must. Methodical in troubleshooting issues both in the lab and during support cases. Detail-oriented in creating and maintaining technical documentation. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment across the organization.
Nice to have... Knowledge of implementing cloud-based production solutions.
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
