Your New Role… A fantastic opportunity to provide a proactive, pragmatic generalist People & Culture service to our CNN International Commercial teams across EMEA. Partnering with teams based in London, Paris and the UAE, this role plays a central part in supporting front-line sales and support teams within a fast‑moving, commercial environment at Warner Bros. Discovery. If you enjoy working closely with leaders, shaping people outcomes and adding real business value, we’d love to hear from you.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across CNN International Commercial teams, delivering a responsive, high‑quality People & Culture service aligned to business priorities and objectives.
- Partner with managers on organisational change at individual and team level, ensuring legal compliance while providing constructive challenge and practical guidance.
- Communicate and implement Warner Bros. Discovery People & Culture strategies, including Inclusion initiatives, tailoring approaches to meet the needs of different teams.
- Support and coach line managers to manage performance, talent and employee experience effectively, drawing on Centres of Excellence expertise where appropriate.
- Work with managers to identify talent and succession plans, supporting the development of high‑performing teams for current and future needs.
- Act as the key interface with the Employee Connections team on headcount changes, ensuring job descriptions, organisation charts and related documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Contribute to wider People & Culture projects and international initiatives, continuously challenging ways of working to improve how the function supports the business.
Qualifications & Experience…
- Demonstrable experience of business partnering within a fast‑paced, high‑change, matrix environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand business priorities, connect insights across functions and influence outcomes.
- Proven experience of partnering with Centres of Excellence to design and deliver People & Culture initiatives that build capability and support culture.
- Experience of overseeing projects and change programmes across international or multi‑team environments.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement, making sound, compliant decisions that positively impact business performance while managing competing priorities.
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
