The key to that lies with our Studio Operations group, which includes areas like soundstage/backlot set rentals, events, design, culinary, construction, landscaping and much more.

Your New Role... Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in creating safe, well-maintained workplaces? Join our Facilities team and play a key role in keeping our Soho Square operation running smoothly. From preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to office moves, safety initiatives and site improvement projects, no two days are the same.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Ensure the facility is clean and in proper working order at all times.
  • Provide 1st line support to all staff and clients for any facility maintenance issues.
  • Liaise with and coordinate 3rd party contractors where necessary, including, but not limited to, Cleaners, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical and Pest Control.
  • To liaise with operational and scheduling staff to ensure the seamless delivery of services.
  • To manage inventory of furniture as well as the moving and installation of furniture according to staff and client needs. This will require heavy lifting.
  • To carry out regular facility checks related to Health and Safety, including, but not limited to, fire alarm weekly checks, general site condition, fire door inspections and PPE stock as well as maintaining complete records of these checks for audit purposes.
  • To be completely aware of the Health and Safety policies in place at WBDLL and be responsible for conducting Risk Assessments, staff safety inductions as well as maintaining complete records of these duties for audit purposes.
  • Ad hoc decorating, carpentry or installation work where required.
  • Be part of the team of Fire Wardens to assist in ensuring the safety of all personnel on site.
  • Occasional out of hours work including evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to create an immediate rapport with clients and staff.
  • Good general carpentry, metal work, and plumbing skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in facility maintenance roles.
  • Ideal (but not essential): IOSH, First Aid At Work, Fire Door Inspection.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
