Responsibilities

  • Manage tickets escalated from Level 0 and Level 1 support teams.
  • Coordinate incident and problem follow‑up with internal and external teams.
  • Follow up updates on platform day‑to‑day with the support Tier1.
  • Plan maintenance activities and coordinate upgrade phases and reboot actions.
  • Monitor and maintain the overall health and performance of the platform.
  • Manage short‑term engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with the Tier3 engineering team.
  • Gather workflow requirements from WBD Sports, TNT Sports and Eurosport offices.
  • Produce workflow, project and engineering documentation.
  • Design centralized workflows across MAM and Post‑Production platforms.
  • Support users through change management and new project implementation.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Technology, Engineering, Broadcast, or a related field.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; French language skills desirable.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Adaptability to fast‑paced and continuously changing environments.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, particularly during live‑event production support.
  • Self‑motivated, collaborative team player with a commitment to high‑quality customer service.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Minimum 3years of experience in broadcast technology in a support or engineering role.
  • Experience in sports, news, production and documentary environments.
  • Experience with MAM and post‑production tools.
  • Extensive broadcast technical background (IP video 2110, AES67, NMOS, video and audio formats and codecs).
  • Good understanding of IT technologies and associated challenges (networking, virtualization, storage, cloud services, security).
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to keep systems efficient, scalable and aligned with business growth.
  • Nice to have: basic scripting and development skills; knowledge of AWS services; knowledge of microservices architecture.

  • Location: London, UK.
  • Shift work (evening and weekend); night work may be required during live events.
  • On‑call rotation.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Permanent contract.
  • Hybrid working model – remote and in‑office work.
