We are looking for an experienced Editorial Producer (Guest Booker), to join CNN Global Productions, supporting CNN’s growing portfolio of Global Perspectives live events around the world. This is a broader role than traditional guest booking. You will help shape the speaker mix editorially, build and manage senior-level relationships, and run complex booking processes end-to-end, working closely with editorial leadership, production, and planning teams to deliver high-impact, globally relevant events.
Your Role Accountabilities:
- Research, identify, and secure high-profile, editorially relevant speakers, panellists, and contributors for CNN live events and related content.
- Manage the full booking process end-to-end, from initial outreach through confirmation, briefing, scheduling, and on-the-day support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for speakers and their teams before, during, and after events, building trust and long-term relationships.
- Brief speakers clearly and confidently, ensuring they understand the editorial context, format, and expectations.
- Build and maintain a strong, diverse network of senior figures across business, policy, culture, and civil society.
- Work closely with production, planning, and external partners to ensure a seamless experience for talent and a smooth delivery overall.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience running complex booking processes end-to-end, ideally within media, journalism, live events, or adjacent editorial environments.
- Strong editorial instinct and judgement, with the ability to assess which voice will genuinely add value to a programme.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior-level speakers and stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple workstreams at once.
- Collaborative and adaptable, able to work closely across editorial, production and planning teams.
Hybrid Working: This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
