Discovery UK & Ireland, as we refresh our FTA network portfolio and prepare for the launch of HBO Max in 2026, we are looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to help shape and strengthen our external profile. This role is pivotal in promoting Warner Bros. Discovery narrative, policies and initiatives across the region.

Reporting to the Senior Director, UK & Ireland Corporate Communications, you will deliver external communications strategies, campaigns and events that build our profile and presence. You’ll work across all core business units – including ad‑sales, partners and affiliates, distribution, content (streaming, linear networks, gaming, social), home entertainment and licensing – and play a key role in the UK & Ireland corporate press office. This position also partners with internal communications and regional and international teams, including government relations, studios, sports, and internal divisions such as People & Culture, CSR and Inclusion.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Develop and draft communications tools such as press releases, statements, briefing documents, reports and comms plans.
  • Create communications strategies that elevate key content, campaigns, partnerships and acquisitions.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships across UK & Ireland and UK‑based international press.
  • Identify opportunities for engagement with leadership and key industry stakeholders, including affiliates, CSR, DEI and government partners.
  • Deliver internal communications programmes to engage and inform UK & Ireland staff, partnering with EMEA Internal Comms as needed.
  • Ensure alignment and visibility across in‑market communications teams and wider business units.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to inform communications plans and positioning.
  • Support proactive engagement to elevate Warner Bros. Discovery’s local story with external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with regional and international teams to ensure consistency in messaging and activity.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of corporate events and campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven communications experience, either in‑house or agency.
  • Background in media, entertainment or technology industries is advantageous.
  • Strong media relations skills with established UK/international press contacts.
  • Ability to build trust and work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering communications across diverse business areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Skilled in handling confidential information.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and a team‑oriented approach.
