Your New Role... This London-based role reports into the US Business Affairs team and supports that team’s expanding work across international local original productions (LOP) by ensuring accurate tracking and distribution of deal terms, rights, and key documentation. The position plays a critical operational role in maintaining centralized systems, supporting US and regional HBO and HBO Max teams with access to essential information, and enabling consistent reporting across projects and territories. By managing data inputs, tracking contractual obligations, and working closely with regional Business & Legal Affairs Executives (BLAs), this role helps streamline workflows and ensures the smooth execution of HBO Max priorities across global productions.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Support all int’l BLAs with distribution of deal term memos and finalized agreements
- Input contractual rights (exhibition, distribution, ancillary, etc.) into centralized HBO rights system and HBO US rights system
- Ensure regional HBO Max rights teams have access to exhibition information needed for each of their platforms
- Ensure show-specific guidelines and obligations documents are delivered by production companies for each show and distribute and archive in one place
- Input projects into proprietary Deal Tracking System
- Track all options for int’l LOP - underlying, project, talent
- Prepare and distribute slate reports for regional executive meetings and provide admin support for international executives, as time permits
Qualifications & Experience...
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, legal studies, media, or a related field, with at least few years of experience in Business Affairs, Legal, Rights Management, or a similar function within media/entertainment
- Strong familiarity with contract terms, rights management, and deal tracking systems combined with a high level of attention to detail with the ability to manage and input complex data accurately across multiple systems
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to support multiple stakeholders across regions and time zones, while working independently as a satellite team member
- Comfortable navigating new technological solutions and system, proficiency in Excel/reporting/project management tools
- Fluent in English, any other European language can be a plus.
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
