Your New Role: As an Account Executive within the Pre‐Sales team, you will support the development and coordination of integrated Ad Sales media campaigns across Warner Bros. Discovery's portfolio. Reporting to the Account Manager, you will play a key role in responding to client briefs, building media plans, tracking inventory, and collaborating with teams across the business to support effective sales delivery.
Your Role Accountabilities:
- Support frontline Sales teams and the Account Manager in developing strategic, integrated responses to client and agency briefs aligned to campaign budgets and KPIs.
- Build and maintain media plans across linear, sponsorship, digital, and social channels, ensuring accuracy, insight, and commercial relevance.
- Work closely with Research & Insights to translate audience data, viewer behaviour, and consumption trends into actionable media recommendations.
- Track, maintain, and update inventory availability across the WBD portfolio (Entertainment, TNT Sports, and HBO Max) to support planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Collaborate daily with cross‐functional teams across the wider WBD business, asking the right questions to ensure well‐informed, insight‐driven proposals.
- Support forecasting, performance tracking, and post‐campaign analysis to enable continuous optimisation and learning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in the media industry, ideally within media planning, sales support, or agency environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, apply media math, and extract actionable insights.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently under pressure in a fast‐paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience using media planning systems – nice to have (TechEdge preferred; other platforms considered).
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
