Your New Role… Are you a Harry Potter fan? If so, you’ll love working at the Harry Potter Shop on Platform 9 ¾. You will be supporting the Manager and leading the team at Kings Cross Station to deliver exceptional customer service to all, by utilising interpersonal skills, a passion for the brand, and in-depth product knowledge. Assisting and deputising for the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store including scheduling, sales analysis, and commercial reporting. Leading a team of Retail Assistants by setting a great example for customer service, etiquette, and shop presentation. You will be required to be on your feet for 8 hours per day, manual handling, and working in an exceptionally fast-paced environment.

Your Role Accountabilities…
- Conducting daily team briefs to set the team up for their shift.
- Setting sales targets and reporting sales figures; motivating team toward achieving them.
- Training staff: new starters, or existing staff on new policies/procedures.
- Scheduling: making monthly rotas and daily deployment plans.
- Conducting or taking part in basic HR functions including lateness and absence monitoring and minor performance issues.
- Cash handling and management.
- Replenishing stock and maintaining high standards of merchandising and housekeeping.
- Entertaining and engaging customers with product demonstration.
Qualifications & Experience…
- Flexible approach to additional working hours i.e. able to work reasonable additional hours, in line with the needs of the business.
- Enthusiasm and passion for, as well as excellent knowledge of, the Harry Potter brand.
#T&ROnsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
