Your new role…

The Hardware Asset Management Analyst I is a member of the Hardware Asset Management team and has three primary areas of responsibility for Warner Bros. Discovery: (1) IT Asset Identification and Tracking, (2) Technology Asset Disposition and (3) Asset Lifecycle Management.  This role requires knowledge of all IT hardware.

This position frequently requires operating in live broadcast, live studio production, and live signal supply chain areas where previous experience operating in sensitive media environments is necessary.

Your role accountabilities…

Asset Identification and Tracking

  • Responsible for coordinating local order logistics, order reconciliation of IT technology assets, asset record creation, asset record maintenance and asset distribution to worldwide support teams
  • Responsible for processing and tracking equipment repairs and product returns for loaned or demonstration products
  • Coordinate equipment distributions with project managers, global support teams, suppliers and logistics providers for 80+ concurrent projects

Technology Asset Disposition

  • Responsible for collecting, processing and disposing of all IT assets
  • Responsible for updating asset records for retired equipment
  • Accountable for the management of retired asset storage areas in the United States

Asset Lifecycle Management

  • Accountable for controlling the inventory for capital surplus assets, operational spare assets, and consumable parts
  • Maintain secure and organized storage areas at local site
  • Conduct physical inventory counts
  • Updates to asset records to maintain the accuracy of hardware asset register

 Qualifications & experience…

  • Previous Technology Asset Management experience
  • Hands-on experience with IT hardware
  • Experience of direct interaction with customers, vendors, manufacturers, procurement services, and logistics providers
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Experience with Ariba and ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of IT asset disposition procedures and legislation

This role will require you to be onsite 5 days a week, split between the Chiswick and Old Street offices.

Onsite Working – This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
