The Senior Production Manager is part of a dedicated team delivering production for sports events, acting as the connective link between engineering teams, vendors and key stakeholders.
This role oversees production delivery, develops solutions to operational challenges, and promotes a One WBD Sports mindset to optimise available assets and deliver results.

Your Role Accountabilities...
- Coordinate a team of Production Managers and junior production staff; oversee and mentor the team, manage project allocation and conduct annual reviews.
- Ensure workflows, protocols and technical production processes are followed consistently across events and BAU production requirements are successfully delivered.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive production schedules and budgets, ensuring all financial reporting is current, validated and invoicing accountability is maintained.
- Ensure all protocols, risk assessments and health & safety measures are in place and adhered to across production activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with freelance crews, vendors and external stakeholders, including federations and organising committees.
- Ensure efficient and effective communication across international internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Lead and support Production Management projects and workstreams, while production managing events during peak periods and coaching staff to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent knowledge of broadcast technology systems across outside broadcasts and studio environments.
- Experienced Production Manager with demonstrable working knowledge of live production and experience coordinating staff, freelance teams, logistics and complex projects.
- Strong contract negotiation and budget management capabilities.
- Global mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams and multiple business functions.
- Ability to handle confidential information and interact effectively with senior executives and talent, combined with a forward-thinking, proactive and self-motivated approach.
Prod Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
