Your New Role…
As Admissions Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Admissions department, supporting the
team responsible for welcoming visitors at the start of their Studio Tour experience and ensuring a smooth departure at the end of their visit.
As part of a fast-paced visitor attraction, you will coordinate staffing, operational delivery and department administration while maintaining high standards of service and compliance throughout the day.
Working closely with stakeholders across the Studio Tour, you'll help ensure the department runs efficiently while
creating a positive environment where team members can thrive.

Your Role Accountabilities…
- Plan and oversee daily staffing requirements, including preparing the department before opening, allocating team members to positions and adjusting rotas in response to absences.
- Act as the first point of contact for visitor escalations, booking issues, operational challenges and technical issues, resolving where possible and escalating when required.
- Support team members through performance, attendance, wellbeing and development conversations, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
- Complete staffing schedules, attendance reporting, payroll-related administration and operational reporting, ensuring accuracy across systems including Rota One, Tableau, Power BI and Galaxy.
- Deliver operational briefings, training and coaching to ensure teams are informed, prepared and working safely and effectively.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders including Retail, Security, Education, Imagineer and Pom Vom teams to support operational requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, standards and department performance, taking action when issues arise and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience…
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within hospitality, tourism, visitor attractions or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Experience using Galaxy ticketing system, or a comparable booking and admissions platform.
- Confidence supporting employee wellbeing conversations while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
- Experience coordinating administrative processes including staffing rotas, attendance management, reporting and operational planning.
- Ability to coach and motivate teams while maintaining high standards, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Working Pattern…
- This role is full time (40 hours a week), working in 9-hour shifts (with a 1-hour unpaid break) between
07:00 and 22:30 with occasional requirement to work until 00:30 during event nights. - Due to the varied nature of a visitor attraction, regular Bank Holiday and weekend work will be required
(working 2 weekends in 3), across a seven-day rota. - You will be required to stand for up to 4 hours at a time, perform light lifting and work outdoors in all
weather conditions
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
