Warner Adelson is delighted to be partnering with a leading FMCG business in Leeds to help appoint a Cost Accountant. The main purpose of this newly created role is to business partner with the leadership team to assist with product costings, analysis and commentary to aid decision making, maintain control of and drive the customer/product profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive complete, accurate and efficient product costing with associated assumptions and workings
- Gross Margin analysis
- Produce accurate and insightful margin analysis
- Forecasting
- Budgeting
- FP&A Analysis
Essential requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months factory accountant experience with costing focus
- Strong understanding of how factory processes work
- Creative self-starter who can put new ideas and suggestions forward
- Advanced Excel modelling skills
