We’re partnering with a leading life sciences technology company to hire a hands-on Lead Cloud Solutions Architect. This is a client-facing role - you’ll be installing and supporting SAS/R, leading statistical computing environments, troubleshooting complex issues, and guiding projects directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud/data platform projects and act as the primary technical contact for clients
- Design, configure, and manage computing environments, networks, and cloud resources
- Troubleshoot client systems across Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud applications
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and templates for scalable deployments
- Mentor and oversee engineers on project delivery
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in scientific and/or technical field (statistics, engineering, maths, data science etc)
- 5+ years in cloud/data engineering or architecture with direct client-facing experience
- 2+ years working with R and Python in analytics environments
- Strong Linux, networking, and cloud skills (AWS preferred)
- Experience with data science/statistical computing platforms (Posit, Domino, Sycamore, etc.)
- Proven project leadership and excellent communication skills
Role Details:
- Remote across the UK, EU, or Ukraine
- Full-time preferred; consultant engagements considered (40 hrs/week)
- Competitive salary starting at €115,000 / £115,000 (depending on experience)
