Fractional UK Medical Lead – Obesity & GLP-1
UK Remote (Fractional / Freelance Contract)

I'm currently partnering with one of the UK's most exciting and rapidly scaling digital health businesses as they continue to expand their obesity and GLP-1 treatment offering. This is a high-impact opportunity for a medically qualified obesity/metabolic health specialist who wants to help shape how large-scale, protocol-driven obesity care is delivered within a modern telehealth environment. This is a senior strategic position with significant influence on future clinical service development.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and optimising GLP-1 prescribing protocols
- Supporting complex patient management and escalation pathways
- Building scalable clinical frameworks and decision logic
- Supporting governance, audits, and edge-case reviews
- Ensuring prescribing remains compliant within UK private healthcare frameworks
- Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Pharmacy teams
- Translating emerging clinical evidence into scalable prescribing pathways
The environment is ambitious, fast-moving, and highly innovative, whilst maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, compliance, and clinical quality.
Ideal Background:- UK-registered Medical Doctor with active licence to practise
- Experience within obesity, metabolic health, endocrinology, GLP-1s, or weight management
- Strong understanding of telehealth and remote prescribing environments
- Experience contributing to clinical governance, audits, or protocol development
- Comfortable making population-scale clinical decisions within regulated frameworks
- Commercially aware with a systems/process mindset
- Experience working within high-growth digital health or startup-style environments preferred
- Interest in AI-enabled healthcare and scalable models of care highly advantageous
