Aspire2Be is offering the opportunity for a driven individual to join our TEAM, as an Esports Coach. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to work within a high performance, forward thinking institution. Warwickshire Institute of Sport is an outstanding academic and sport performance academy within the Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) sectors. Our academic programmes are balanced alongside all of our elite performance sports and esports, delivered within our high performance environment at our world-class facilities at the University of Warwick.

Job Type: Part time role 4-6 hours term time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead esports gaming provision for Level 3 students
  • Train, prepare and guide students across a number of different games
  • Support and prepare students to participate in regular league competitions
  • Team lead esports support coaches
  • Set high expectations for your own performance and that of others around you, contributing to our culture
  • Undertake such other responsibilities to ensure optimal efficiency in the day-to-day running of the institution

Skills, Qualifications and Attitude: This role requires, but is not limited to:

  • Experience of coaching/playing esports
  • An attitude to go ‘above and beyond’
  • Enhanced DBS check
