The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

We’re seeking a proactive Wills & Probate Paralegal to deliver expert support on complex employment cases and day-to-day legal matters. You will have responsibility for your own caseload from day one, supporting the administration of estates and private client matters. This will include:

  • Drafting correspondence and letters of advice
  • Preparing probate and estate administration documentation
  • Assisting with the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Attending client meetings—contributing meaningfully at every stage of the process

No two days are the same, as you will coordinate with clients, executors, financial institutions, HMCTS, and your supervising solicitor to ensure matters progress smoothly and deadlines are met. You will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with beneficiaries and third parties
  • Compiling estate schedules and asset information
  • Tracking key milestones throughout the administration process

The role combines hands-on legal drafting with detailed administrative work, requiring strong organisation and attention to detail to keep matters progressing efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, managing documentation, and supporting clients through often sensitive and complex situations.

Essential skills:

  • Legal drafting, document preparation
  • Accurate research using legitimate approved legal databases
  • Proactive, independent, and tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, legal databases)
  • Law degree (2:1 or higher) is essential and an LPC/SQE is an advantage
