3.5 Tonne Van Class 1 & 2 Drivers

We are looking to hire a professional and reliable 3.5 Tonne LGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driver to join our growing removals logistics and storage team based in Little Houghton, Northampton.

The role will suit a dependable and hardworking individual who enjoys being on the road and takes pride in delivering a professional service. You will be involved in a range of removals, collections and deliveries, working with both domestic and commercial customers across the UK.

The successful candidate will be confident handling a 3.5-tonne vehicle, comfortable working as part of a team and willing to get involved with the physical side of removals when required. What is the Role?

What you’ll be doing:

• Driving LGV vehicles forhousehold and commercial removals
• Assisting the removals crew withpacking, loading and unloading
• Export wrapping and protecting customer goods
• Dismantling and reassembling furniturewhere required
• Working onlocal and national moves
• Handlingspecialist VIPRemoval work
• Deliveringexcellent customer serviceto clients
• Representing Wardle & Keach in a professional and courteous manner

To apply for this job you will need to have:

• 3.5 tonne, LGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence
• Minimum 3 years LGV driving experience
• Driving a Goods Vehicle 1 year (required)
• Clean licence or no more than 3 points
• Right tolive and work in the UK
• No unspent criminal convictions
• Driver CPC (required for Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers)

Removals experience is helpful but not essential as training will be provided
