Warden Tyne Solutions are currently recruiting multiple Civils Inspectors / Clerk of Works for a civil engineering project. Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concrete, structural steel and associated civil/structural works.
- Carry out pre-pour, installation and quality inspections and verify works against approved drawings and specifications.
- Check dimensions, levels, line, tolerances, reinforcement, cover, fixings and finishes.
- Identify and report defective or non-compliant work and monitor corrective actions through to close-out.
- Monitor concrete works, including delivery, slump, temperature, cube testing and curing.
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet the required standards and project specifications.
- Liaise with site management, engineers, consultants and the client to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain clear records of inspections, defects, photographs and completed works.
- Carry out regular site walks to identify issues early and promote a right-first-time approach.

- Relevant qualification or significant experience in Civil/Structural Construction.
- Proven experience as a Clerk of Works, Civil/Structural Inspector or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of RC construction, reinforcement, formwork and structural works.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong eye for detail with a focus on quality, workmanship and compliance.
- Good communication skills and the ability to confidently challenge poor or non-compliant work.
- Experience working with contractors, consultants and client teams. Terms
