Higher Level Teaching Assistants Required from September
- 1 x 37 hours per week
- 1 x 22 hours per week
SLT pay grade H £32,597 - £34,434 per annum fte. Actual salary: £27,256.38 - £28,792.41 based on 37 hours per week or £16,206.49 - £17,119.81 based on 22 hours per week.
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistants to lead, manage and develop colleagues within the Additional Learning Team and to support them in providing consistently high quality and specialist support to children with SEND.
- Supporting students to access lessons across the school;
- Developing an understanding of the needs of the students you will be working with;
- Building students’ self-esteem and confidence;
- Monitoring, recording and reporting on student progress;
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with students.

The successful candidate will be able to establish a positive, supportive relationship with our more vulnerable students. They will be flexible and able to adapt both to the developing needs of the students and the requirements of the teacher and department. The ability to work calmly under pressure and a willingness to learn and work with our digital systems will be required. First aid/diabetic experience is preferred but not essential.
