Permanent post, 19.5 hours (3 days) per week, term time only. SLT support payscale grade D, pro rata of £25,583 - £26,403 fte. (actual starting salary £11,273.92 - £11,635.27 based on 19.5 hours per week).

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident and skilled Cover Supervisor to join our team of professionals as soon as possible. The key role of a Cover Supervisor is to work closely with our students across a range of subjects and to ensure they maintain their learning in the absence of their regular teacher. Candidates will have strong organisational and interpersonal skills for this rewarding role and be relentless in their commitment to the success of all our students.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils across a range of subjects to maintain learning in the absence of their regular teacher.
  • Work calmly and often under pressure when required.
  • Contribute to a positive and safe learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of current ICT packages.
  • Previous experience of working in a school environment is advantageous.
  • A commitment to developing staff through training activities.
