We are seeking an experienced strategic leader to join our team as the Assistant Headteacher for Attendance and Safeguarding. You will be tasked with more than just strategic oversight. Working closely with our Director of Inclusion, you will architect our preventative strategy, refine early-help processes, and ensure our most vulnerable learners thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic oversight of attendance and safeguarding across the academy.
  • Develop and implement preventative and early-help strategies in partnership with the Director of Inclusion.
  • Motivate a diverse team of specialists to foster high-support, high-accountability culture.
  • Drive improvements in attendance, engagement, and safeguarding outcomes.
  • Provide leadership capacity to transform support pathways into a model of excellence.
