TEACHING ASSISTANTS - Required from September 2026 (full‑time and part‑time applications considered)
Salary: SLT pay grade C £24,796 – £25,185 per annum (average fte). Actual salary range: £16,810.93 – £17,074.66.
Responsibilities
- Support students to access lessons across the school.
- Develop an understanding of the needs of the students you will be working with.
- Build students' self‑esteem and confidence.
- Monitor, record and report on student progress.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with students.
Qualifications & Skills
- Enthusiastic and committed with a genuine passion for education.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to establish a positive, supportive relationship with vulnerable students.
- Flexibility to adapt to the developing needs of students and to teacher/department requirements.
- Calm under pressure and willingness to learn and work with digital systems.
- First aid/diabetic experience preferred but not essential.
