Weighbridge Operator\\n\\nHours and location\\n\\nThe role is full time and based at our Cardiff Site\\n\\nWorking hours are 40 + hours Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work as required.\\n\\nThe Role:\\n\\nAs a weighbridge operator based at Ward, Cardiff you will serve as the central point of communications for both colleagues and customers. You will be responsible for the weighing of inbound and outbound vehicles and maintaining accurate records for the site. This is a customer facing role and requires good communication and people skills.\\n\\nAn overview of the role:\\n\\n * You will be the central point of communications for colleagues and customers\\n\\n * You will be the administrator keeping records of site-specific data\\n\\n * You will help assess the different types of incoming materials\\n\\n * You will weigh vehicles in and out of the site\\n\\nSkills and Knowledge Required:\\n\\n.
The job will require moderate computer literacy skills – however full onsite system training will be provided\\n\\n· You will be highly motivated and trustworthy\\n\\n· You will have good communication and people skills\\n\\n· Previous weighbridge experience is beneficial, but not required\\n\\n· Experience within the metal/waste recycling industry is beneficial, but not required\\n\\n· Experience with using basic Excel features is beneficial, but not required\\n\\nWhat is in it for you?\\n\\nYou will have the opportunity to develop your existing skills and experience, as well as obtaining the ability to acquire new skills.
